Rapper, Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, who is popularly known as CDQ, has opened up on the nature of the contract between him & Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun, embattled Tiwa Savage’s husband. Since the Tiwa Savage and Teebillz breakup saga started, there have been rumors that the ‘’Salaro’’ crooner has left the 323 Entertainment owned and managed by TeeBillz.
Rumours have it that TeeBillz borrowed N45m when he signed CDQ to his label with the hope of making it back
but he didn’t. But the ace rapper has said he did not sign any record deal with anybody, saying that his record label is General Records, and that it was only on a managerial basis that he would have anything with any other persons.
CDQ wrote on his Instagram page: “Haaa how rumor spread easily 9ja no get chillz atall o Abeg ooo…
I didn’t sign any record deal with anybody o…
My record label is GENERAL RECORDS if I
ever had anything with any other person, it’s just
a managerial movement o Biko… Y’all should
know d difference btw A Record Label and A
His fans disagree. Some are of the opinion that
when the going was good, CDQ was signed as Tiwa
Savage’s label mate at 323 Entertainment, while
others are of the belief that CDQ is distancing
himself from anything that has to do with TeeBillz
because of the current mess he is in.
