Celine Dionhas had a harder year than many of us, but she knows better than anyone that the show must always go on.

The Canadian pop star lost her husband of 22 years, Rene Angelil, in January. She soon returned in Las Vegas   to continue her residency, though, and now she has released her first new single since his death, a cover of Queen’s “The Show Must Go On.”

Dion’s cover features accompaniment from violinist and YouTube star Lindsey stirling. There aren’t many contemporary singers who can match the melodrama (and range) of Freddie Mercury, but Dion is a perfect fit for the song.

This Sunday, May 22, Dion will perform the song live with Stirling at the Billboard Music Awards.
